1. Crew Accommodations & Transportation.
- ROOMS, FACILITIES & AMENITIES – Hotels must provide airline crews with pre-assigned rooms that are on higher floors and away from the hotel lobby, elevators, house-keeping pantry, ice-vending/laundry areas. Rooms must be accessible to fast-speed internet and have ‘black-out’ curtains.
- SAFETY & SECURITY – The safety and security of airline crews are crucial at all times. Hotels must provide basic standards of security service including, but not limited to, up-to-date safety equipment, automated key locks, screening of phone calls from outside callers, connecting rooms to have additional security locks, reporting serious crimes against hotel guests or crew members to the police department and the airline, initiating timely response to security concerns identified by the crew, providing safety plans, procedures, policies and practices, and conducting scheduled security drills.
- GROUND TRANSPORTATION - Ground transportation is of vital importance to the airlines. If provided by Hotel, it must ensure the use of well-maintained, fully insured and clean vehicles, and the timely, careful and courteous performance of its licensed and bonded drivers.
- ACCOUNTING - Hotels must review invoices before they go out to the airlines to avoid inaccuracies and late payments.
2. Distressed Passenger Accommodations (Delayed or Cancelled flights). Hotels operate with a nightly 5 – 40 % vacancy factor that creates a perpetual cycle of income loss and continues to compromise owners’ return on investment (ROI). AOGtion is a mobile marketplace for hotels to liquidate its nightly vacant rooms through dynamic pricing on a real time basis. Hotels that upload its nightly available rooms at a special distressed passenger rate through AOG will be able to dispose of its unused inventory to the airlines without diluting its published or contracted rates. AOGtion is an App that provides a “one-stop shop” for airlines to procure these nightly vacant rooms for its distressed passengers in one click, thus increasing efficiency and traffic for both markets.
3. Emergency Response Services (Aircraft Accidents, Incidents, Diversions, Ferry Flights). AOG’s Special Operations Solution (SOS) is designed to help the airlines execute a comprehensive and efficient emergency plan for Hotel accommodation and Transport services during Aircraft Accident & Incident, Natural Disasters (i.e.: tsunami, hurricane), prolonged Airport Closures, when it is critical for the airlines to secure reasonably priced hotels for its team, crew, survivors and family members, transportation to and from the hotels, and provide the latest flow of information between the airline and the hotels.
