During this time, his career expanded across several U.S. and overseas markets, covering Food and Beverage assignments, Room Service, Banquets, and Fine Dining. In his new company role with The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park, he will be responsible for the luxury flagship’s daily operations, executive management and playing a pivotal role in reopening the 253-room hotel and property outlets Contour and La Prairie Spa after a 14-month closure. A Toronto Native, Doug shares his new home in New York with his wife Ada Wong.

Andrei Oei also joined as the new Director of Sales & Marketing, assuming the role in April 2021. An energetic leader, Andrei brings over two decades of hospitality experience, beginning his sales career with Marriott International in 1993. In 2003, Andrei joined The Plaza Hotel, New York, as the Director of Executive Events, followed by several Director of Sales & Marketing leadership roles with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, from 2005 to 2016. Transitioning back to Marriott in 2017 after the merger, Andrei most recently held the position of Area Sales Leader for the W Hotels of New York City, where he managed topline sales and repositioned the Renaissance New York Times Square through a multi-million dollar renovation.  Before this, he served as the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing for the W Times Square and W Union Square and Director of Sales & Marketing for the W Hoboken, where he won Sales Leader of the year.

In his new role, Andrei will oversee and develop market strategies across business segments, including leisure, corporate group, entertainment and diplomatic sales, and the reopening of the five-star, five-diamond luxury flagship hotel. Andrei is of Indonesian-Dutch descent and is fluent in both Dutch and English. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, playing tennis, traveling to beach destinations, and family time with his wife Julie and two daughters, Ella and Caroline.
